GLOVE DOVE® was originally invented to solve the problem of a golf glove turning into a crinkled-up, dried-out, and useless piece of leather. GLOVE DOVE® replicates the process of how a cedar shoe tree naturally preserves and maintains the shape of a fine leather shoe.
The invention of GLOVE DOVE®
Dan, an avid golfer, wanted a solution to the problem of his golf gloves prematurely drying out, losing shape and being rendered useless in as little as a single round. No product existed that would delicately dry, shape and preserve a glove and yet, be easy to store. The result: the invention of GLOVE DOVE®. Dan received patents in 2010 and 2012, however, the production, distribution and marketing of GLOVE DOVE® had yet to be launched. In 2024, Dan’s neighbor, Tony, saw GLOVE DOVE® on Dan’s workshop shelf and things began to move forward… quickly.
Tony’s experience in new product development, opened the door for discussions into pursuing the commercial production, sales and marketing of GLOVE DOVE®. With a mutually shared enthusiasm, Dan and Tony, formed a business relationship. The patented, trademarked, and copyrighted GLOVE DOVE® is off the home-workshop shelf and is being manufactured for retail sales.

Where’s the “thumb”?
GLOVE DOVE® was designed to be compact and easily stored in a golf bag. Adding a “thumb” to our design would have not improved effectiveness, but instead, would have ended up being cumbersome and prone to breakage. GLOVE DOVE® is durable. With a little tender loving care, GLOVE DOVE® will perform and last for years.
